What to Pack

One suitcase per camper.

Backpacks are okay to carry on the bus.

Sleeping bags and pillows do not need to be packed in luggage but DO need to be labeled.

Medications

  • All medications must be reported and turned in at Quail check-in on departure morning. Emergency-use medications, such as Epi-Pens, inhalers, and diabetic supplies, are to stay with the camper, but they must still be reported at check-in.
  • Please make sure your camper's Hume profile has been updated to reflect their current medications and dosage instructions.
  • If a medication has been reported to Hume on the camper's Hume profile, you will need to bring it to check-in. If it is no longer needed, you will need to update the Hume profile to reflect that.
  • All medications MUST be in their original packaging.
  • Please do not bring large-sized medication bottles, if at all possible.
  • AFTER CAMP, make sure to collect your camper's medications before leaving the Quail campus!!!

From Hume Regarding Prescribed Medications, Vitamins & Supplements:

These will be collected and dispensed by the camp health center. We consider any vitamin, supplement, or over-the-counter therapy that is taken to treat a condition or maintain health to be a “medication.” We are not able to give a medication that we cannot identify and dose from the original container. Sending medication in anything other than the original container may result in the camper not receiving it.
