The Quail Lakes Bible Institute is a Quail-based certificate program with a goal of providing ministry preparation and/or preparation for further training that is affordable, church-based, and includes mentored guidance. This program will assist adult students who wish to attain proficiency in biblical literature, theology, church history, and church leadership on a level that will allow them to succeed in the college context for ministry preparation. Alternatively, if Christian ministry is not the student’s goal, the program will create more informed Bible students and ministry participants in the local church. The students will be provided the opportunity to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the Bible’s structure and themes, as well as a thorough grounding in systematic theology and the theology of Christian leadership.
The Quail Lakes Bible Institute is a low-cost, self-paced, online, cohort-based educational program. The teaching content is provided by respected seminary professors who have made their teaching available through BiblicalTraining.org.
The certificate process entails six modules, varying from 5 to 8 weeks. The modules are: The Bible’s Big Picture, Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Systematic Theology, Church History, and The Theology of Christian Leadership. Students will individually watch/listen to the assigned lectures each week and attend a bi-weekly “Cohort Forum.” This forum will allow students to discuss and process the lectures and assigned readings, as well as turn in any assignments. At the conclusion of the process, students will receive a certificate of completion.
Each module will cost a $50 registration fee plus the cost of the assigned reading materials. Access to the lectures is free. Cohorts will be limited to a maximum of 25 students.
