Snow Day is one of Quail's biggest outreach events and it takes a lot of hands to make it happen! There are a variety of ways that you can be involved, both on the day of the event and before:
- Donate ingredients for s'mores (PRE-EVENT)
- Snow prep - shovel snow to make the sled run and snow play area (PRE-EVENT but on the day of the event)
- Set-up - get tables, chairs, shade tents, and firepits ready for the event (PRE-EVENT but on the day of the event)
- Safety - help in the kiddie area and keep people from throwing snowballs
- Welcome - mingle with our guests
- Sled management - help kids get on the sleds and go down the slopes
- Food server - serve hot dogs and chips, keep condiments and hot chocolate stocked, keep food area clean
- Clean-up - put away tables, chairs, shade tents, empty trash cans, etc.
