Up All Night Goals and Purpose

We know, having an all night event sounds crazy. But the goal of this event, other than overcoming sleepiness, is to have constant games and instruction that force us to cooperate and work on a common goal. And fun, fellowship, and food is pretty hard to beat. What better way to end summer vacation? Here are the details:

  • Open only to high school students and recent high school graduates (class of '24)
  • Quail Activity Center (Gym)
  • $15 per student, due at time of registration (note: 1.9% transaction fee for credit cards, $0.25 for ACH)
  • Included: dinner, midnight meal, snacks
  • Okay for students to bring snacks to share with the group
  • Goal is to be up all night
  • Deadline to register is Wednesday, July 24
  • If a student is not signed up in advance, they will not be allowed to enter the event. NO DAY-OF SHOW-UPS.

Code of Conduct

Some very important details for parents/guardians:

  • Students MUST be dropped off and picked up by a parent/guardian. Pick up Tuesday morning is 6 am - 7am!! We cannot stress this enough!!!!!!!!!
  • We encourage a student to stay for the full duration of the event, however, if a student is to be picked up early, notice of this must be provided before the day of the event. We will NOT allow a student to leave and return to the event.
  • All participants must have a current Annual Health Form (July 2024-June 2025) on file* through CampDoc. Create an account and register your student (participant) for our, "Off-Campus » 2025 » Quail Annual Health Form." We are not using paper forms. So this form MUST be completed in order to participate. Parents, please fill out these forms and DO NOT let your student fill these forms out themselves.

*If you are unsure if your student already has one on file, contact Madie in the church office. If your student went with us to Hume in June 2024, it is likely you're all set.

To make this not only a fun event but a safe one as well, we have some rules - a CODE OF CONDUCT - that students will have to follow, or they may be sent home:

  • Kindness is mandatory. At all times.
  • Stay with the group. We should never wonder where you are. Do not go off by yourself.
  • Do not leave the building.
  • No bad language and no bad songs (references to sex, drugs, vulgarity).
  • PHONES: Keep your phones at your own risk. There will be a cell phone caddy for your convenience. You may not hang out on your phones. You may not chat with friends who are not at the all-nighter. You may take photos. You may post appropriate all-nighter photos to your social media accounts. (We will lock up your phone or send you home if you do not adhere to phone rules.)
  • KEYS: For those students who will be driving themselves over, students will be required to turn in their car keys upon arrival. They will be returned the following morning. This keeps kids from leaving the campus.

Registration for this event is now closed.
