After more than three decades of working in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, Joan and Jim Farr have finished translating the New Testament into the Baruga language. But in order to complete the translation, they had to first develop a written form of the native Baruga and find ways to convey concepts which did not exist in the Baruga culture.
Join us as they share about their Bible translation adventures in one of the most remote areas of the world. Everyone is welcome and a light lunch will be served. This event is sponsored by Global Focus.
